The quarter has been one of the most widely used U.S. coins since it was first struck more than 200 years ago.
This beautiful collection includes the only four regular-issue design types from this period, beginning with the Liberty Seated Quarter that was first struck in 1838, the Barber Quarter designed by Charles E. Barber, the Standing Liberty Quarter and the Washington Silver Quarter. From 1838 to 1964, all quarters were struck in 90% silver.
Also included in this collection is the first commemorative quarter issued for circulation -- the 1976 Bicentennial issue. Together, these coins comprise an amazing history of the quarter and the nation. This dazzling collection is one you won't want to miss!
