There’s only one manufacturer that dominated the race car world in the 1930s; only one whose form is as unrivaled as its function. There is only one legend; one icon of world-class performance. There’s only one...
This 1:18 scale precision model of the first Silver Arrow was Mercedes-Benz' successful comeback car in the 1934 Grand Prix race. On June 3, 1934, the Mercedes-Benz W25 debuted at the Nürburgring with Manfred von Brauchitsch at the wheel. It was crowned with victory in the international Eifel race (Eifelrennen), and three more victories would follow subsequently in the same year. Legend has it that the W25 was originally painted white. But the car turned out to be one kilogram too heavy to clear the maximum weight limit of 750 kg, a rule newly imposed by the Grand Prix governing body. The Mercedes-Benz team decided to scrape off the white paint and bring the weight of their car down to 750 kg. With this, the first Silver Arrow was born, marking the beginning of a new legend.

This zinc alloy model is hand-assembled from 610 single components and its production is limited to 3,000 pieces. The M-065 has a silver-color brother, M-033, which has won multiple industry awards (2003 Zonee Award and 2003 Super-Model of the Year).
